"A popular dinner place with limited tables. Go early to avoid disappointment. They have probably the best kolo mee in town. Full of flavour despite the plain look, topped with fried shallots, pork lard bits and properly paired with chilli in vinegar. Also tried the fried kolo mee for the first time. Strong wok hei that can be detected a table away. Also tried other dishes like red wine mee suah and others. And of course… not forgetting 4-sour ice drink. Theirs is special, comes with fried mandarin skin? Super shiok!"

"Wantan and kolok mee superb. Shop is a little bit old, hygiene so - so. But the food are really worth the visit. The fried dishes are very good too."

"Non-halal. Among the best kolomee in Miri. Nice lard fragrance and taste, simple topping with good noodle texture. The biggest problem here is availability of seats. You need to come early to find a spot, else share a table with someone, if you don't mind. Recommended."

"FYI, different people operating in the morning and night. BREAKFAST exclusive: Watanho Tomato Portion size: Huge because I'm a regular. Very worth it as this is prolly the biggest portion I've had in Miri. The boss also put in a lot of tomatoes, vege, meat & tomato sauce. This would be enough for 2 or more persons if you have smaller appetite. There's usually a lot of people there around 7-8am."

"PSA: The bbq squid and brinjal stall has officially closed down at early 2022. The tomato wan tan ho is a good mix. Kolo mee, wantan, egg wine soup and Thai pork are signatures. The bbq brinjal with minced meat is nice. Can try bbq squid too. But the bbq stall has a long waiting time. Place may be dirty for some standard."

"Whenever we are back in Miri, this is our first stop! Kim Seng Café is a homely family run establishment that has served the locals for decades. Patrons are able to choose from a wide range of truly delectable local dishes. I'd personally recommend: Midin stir-fried with Red Wine (a wild fern harvested from the local forests); Red Wine Egg Soup prepared with a copious amount of ginger and dried chillies (a superb accompaniment on a cold, wet Sarawak evening); Kolo Mee and Wanton prepared by the ladyboss; and a multitude of other dishes that includes Tomato Hor Fun, Fried Chicken Wings. We travel far and wide, but will always feel at home at Kim Seng and we're looking forward to try out the other dishes on our next visit!"

"Kolo mee is one of the best. And this is big (not sure if they have small and big size). My freinds recommend wantan, which is quite normal."

"This place is absolutely the best. Stuffed bbq squid is just brilliant the crunchy squid texture with tender marinated pork inside is a killer combination. Definitely a winner. The cooked dishes such as tomato canto noodles, red wine vermicelli, salted egg bittergourd all come recommended. Although it's impossible to explore the huge menu entirely, you can certainly discover other goodies here."
